The "4500" series, non-thermally broken is dry-dry, outside glazed, able to accommodate single glass 5mm/3/16" to 6mm/1/4",  The nominal profile dimensions are 44 mm / 1-3/4" wide and 114mm / 4-1/2" deep appropriate for load and span conditions. Glass retention is achieved by flush glazing with extruded aluminum exterior glazing stop for dry-dry gasketing method.
The 4500 storefront series will prevent the door header profile from distorting, (a problem prevalent in the hand snap system), however, it incorporates our famous "positive snap fit" to assure maximum strength (tubular construction) with easy transport to the job site (no falling apart!!!). Additionally, for those high-span jobs, the 4500 series can accept steel reinforcing. Finally, this system is comparable in price to any other 1-3/4" x 4-1/2" system available today.
